About Me
I love working with children and families. Over the years I have supported families in various positions and environments.

My undergraduate degree is in Psychology from DePaul University and I have my Master's degree in Child Development with specialization in infancy (0-3) from The Erikson Institute.

While going through school I worked as an infant teacher at an early learning center, volunteered in the playrooms of local children's hospitals and in the NICU as a baby cuddler. My internship in grad school was with Healthy Steps, where I provided teen moms with child development information during their children's well child doctor visits. I also helped facilitate a newborn group along side a lactation consultant. Other experiences include working with children with special needs and working as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
It was while studying early child development, that it became very clear to me how crucial relationships are to the health and happiness of a baby. If the mother and family are supported and are provided with the tools they need, healthy development of the child is being facilitated. While in school I became certified as an infant massage educator. I love being able to provide parents with a way to facilitate healthy touch and promote bonding with their little ones.

After graduate school I attended my training to start my journey as a doula. I started working as a postpartum doula and fell in love with anchoring families with love and support during the early days. In order to further support growing families, I trained as a birth doula. With my love for children, and my dedication to supporting others, it is to no surprise that I found myself pursuing a career as a doula.
When not supporting families, I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter, traveling to new places, hiking, reading and being by the water.
